Gatsby Facial Paper (super refresh type). It’s like they magically crossed a handy-wipe with a cool spring breeze. I imagine this is what it would feel like if a Unicorn made love to your face. All sparkly and refreshing, but it kinda burns a little and you wonder if maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. But once it settles down, you’re all cool and squinty like Steve McQueen.
Feather safety razor blades. I’m pretty sure I’m the only guy I know who shaves with old-school double edged safety razors, so I know this is exciting only to me. But being able to walk into any old drugstore and buy a pack of Feather blades for $4.00 is amazing. It’s rare to find any kind of blades back home, and usually if you do, they’re Wilkinsons, which is like shaving with a rusty lawnmower blade compared to these blades. The Japanees obviously take their edged weapons very seriously. These blades are so sharp they don’t so much cut your facial hair, as they intimidate it into leaving of it’s own accord.
Strawberries. I know there’s nothing natural about cartoon strawberries. And they don’t really taste any better, but there’s something about a package of perfectly uniform strawberries, all the same size, shape, and color. These are the berries a Bond villain would insist on eating for breakfast.
